This pledge is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and equality for all learners and staff.
What We’re Doing
- Whole School Approach: We are adopting a holistic approach to combat sexism and sexual harassment, ensuring that our policies, practices, and educational content reflect our commitment to gender equality.
- Education and Awareness: Incorporating gender equality into our curriculum and through extracurricular activities, we aim to educate our learners about the importance of respect and equality, challenging gender stereotypes and discriminatory behaviours.
- Support Systems: Establishing robust support mechanisms for those affected by sexism or sexual harassment, ensuring they have a safe and supportive environment to report concerns and receive the help they need.
- Staff Training: Our staff are undergoing specialised training provided by UK Feminista, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to identify, challenge, and prevent sexist behaviours and harassment.
- Community Engagement: Engaging our entire school community, including parents and guardians, in discussions and actions to foster an inclusive and respectful school culture.
