In our second U16 football match The JCB Academy team looked a lot more organised, having a little more time to build on the squad. A great start against Thomas Alleynes got us a 2-0 lead within the first 10 minutes.
Thomas Alleynes battled back but we held the scoreline into the break. The second half saw Thomas Alleynes pinch one back to 2-1 but again we quickly regrouped and restored the 2 goal lead to go 3-1 up! Confidence grew and we were the better team throughout. Again, some great individual performances and positive areas of play. We did allow them to score a second right at the death but a great 3-2 win for The JCB Academy.
