A quick warm up in the brutal wind and snow showers saw the lads ready for the first fixture against our hosts. A tight game that saw Abbotsholme cross the whitewash first. The boys continued to probe with lots of opportunities with Jamie Wain finally crashing over with the first of his two tries, duly converted by Alex. The second half was much the same with strong defence from both sides, but some nice footwork saw Jamie cross over for his 2nd try and secured the victory for The JCB Academy.
