GCSE Results Day 2023

Learners celebrate their GCSE achievements and embrace an array of future pathways

Renowned for its focus on business and engineering education, The JCB Academy has once again demonstrated its commitment to learner advancement. The academy’s reputation for excellence in fostering learner progress continues to be a strength, with the vast majority of learners achieving their first choice destination.

This year’s set of results exemplifies The JCB Academy’s commitment to nurturing the potential of its learners. The academy’s Principal, Mrs McGuirk, shared her sentiments on this proud occasion stating,

“I wish to congratulate our Y11 learners collecting their GCSE results today.  They can be very proud of their achievements which demonstrated their hard work and resilience over the past two years.

We couldn’t be more elated as they embark on the next phase of their journey, which includes many stepping into apprenticeships at prestigious companies like Rolls-Royce, JCB and the Royal Engineers, and an unprecedented number progressing to The JCB Academy Sixth Form where they will delve into a variety of subjects within the three pathways of engineering, business and A‑Levels.

The new Business T-level that will be introduced from this September has proven to be very popular and will complement the existing Engineering T-level course that has been running for a year. This addition underlines The JCB Academy’s commitment to providing a unique education that prepares learners for the world of work.

The success story of The JCB Academy’s learners is not only a testament to their individual accomplishments, but also to the nurturing and empowering environment fostered by the academy. As the celebration continues, The JCB Academy remains committed to its mission of changing lives by developing the engineers and business leaders of the future.
