We’ve had a fantastic first day in the mountains. We had two teams tackling Snowdon via different routes (team 1 ascended using the Rhyd Du path and descended using the Pyg track and team 2 ascended using the ranger route and descended using the miner’s path). Our students negotiated some very challenging terrain in varied weather. They demonstrated some excellent navigational skills and worked well in their teams to stay on track and on time throughout the day.
