Australia Exchange 2017 – Day 8

Day 8: Saturday 25th February 2017

The weekend began with a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park where staff and learners were able to observe the local wildlife of Australia. Armed with bags of animal feed, the learners walked freely amongst kangaroos, wallabies, bettongs and potoroos. One of our learners, Rob Turner, and his host, Declan Moseley, bravely attempted to feed the emus. Also on view at Cleland were dingoes, Tasmanian devils, native birds, water birds, forest birds, snakes, reptiles and even the elusive echidna. After a spot of lunch, staff and learners went their separate ways to spend the remainder of the weekend with their host families.
