Our Year 11 learners said their final farewell on Wednesday after a somewhat turbulent final year. Principal, Mrs McGuirk and Assistant Principal – Director of Key Stage 4, Mr Gardner, gave inspiring speeches during the Y11s last ever school assembly. Head of Royce House & Business Learning Manager, Mrs Buchanan, then gave out certificates for our annual competition which sees learners nominate their fellow colleagues for awards for categories such as; ‘Mostly likely to become Prime Minister’, ‘Most likely to appear on Love Island’, ‘Couple most likely to get married’, ‘Best hair’, ‘Most un-tuckable shirt’, and much more. Learners then had the opportunity for photos in our balloon arches, kindly put together by mentor, Miss Ward. Overall a fantastic send-off under the restrictions.
