Today, our Year 9 learners have taken part in a special Enrichment Day dedicated to World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. This global observance serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of embracing diversity and promoting mutual understanding among people from all backgrounds.
To honour this message, learners have participated in a wide variety of meaningful and enriching activities, including:
- 🎭 African-Themed Workshops – led by an experienced external provider, offering a vibrant and immersive cultural experience.
- 🎬 Language Short Films – encouraging exposure to different languages and cultures through modern foreign language cinema.
- 🗺️ MFL Treasure Hunt – a fun, interactive way to explore language and culture through problem-solving and teamwork.
- 🏅 Sports & Games – promoting collaboration, inclusion, and social confidence in mixed learner groups.
- 🧭 NNAS Navigation Training – with 46 learners building their skills in navigation and outdoor learning.
Throughout the day, learners expanded their horizons, building cultural awareness, and learning the value of inclusivity through shared experiences.
