PHSE at The JCB Academy

As part of our ongoing commitment to keep our learners safe, we deliver a full programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education.

On Tuesday this week, Re-Solv came into the academy to work with our learners in Years 9, 10 & 11.

Re-Solv deliver an education programme that helps young people to understand the risks involved in substance misuse. Learners will then have the opportunity to build on their understanding of these topics in the PSHE lessons which will follow throughout the year.

Our Year 9 learners will attend a session on nitrous oxide/’laughing gas’ and our Year 10 and 11 learners will be educated around the risks involved in cannabis use.
