Learners from The JCB Academy delivered an exceptional set of performances at the Staffordshire Moorlands Swimming Gala, demonstrating skill, determination, and impressive teamwork across all events.
The academy team competed with real confidence, securing several standout swims and multiple first-place finishes in individual races. Many of our learners dedicate significant time to their training, and this commitment was clearly reflected in the quality of their performances throughout the gala.
Team Results
The results across age groups were particularly strong:
- U14 Girls and Boys – 2nd place overall
- U16 Girls – 2nd place overall
- U16 Boys – 1st place overall
In the combined standings, the U16 Girls and Boys finished 2nd overall by just four points, highlighting the competitive standard of the event and the strength of our swimmers.

Every learner represented The JCB Academy with pride, discipline and sportsmanship. Their determination in the pool and their support for one another exemplify the values we aim to instil in all our learners.
