Congratulations to both teams for successfully completing their expedition! Great effort. Students continued to make their way north from Castell to Llandudno (enjoying fish and chips on the beach to celebrate). Learners at The JCB Academy have had another fantastic day in Snowdonia on their Duke of Edinburgh Gold practice expedition. The weather was incredible and they did extremely well to walk from Pen y Pass over the Glyders to Capel Curig.

Congratulations to one of our learners, Ben Penter, who recently completed the YMCA Derbyshire’s Sleep Easy annual fundraising event. Ben and his family raised more than £400 through being sponsored for their participation in the event. The YMCA have raised over £38,000 so far.
