Michelin apprenticeship

Michelin – Engineering Apprenticeships

The Company is seeking to develop an Engineering Apprentice in August 2018 to be based at the Stoke Industrial site.

The learning programme is operated in conjunction with the JCB Academy and combines both the theoretical and practical elements of study and work-placed knowledge development. The apprenticeship is expected to be between 3 and 4 years in length and the educational elements of the course consists of both mechanical and electrical disciplines leading to nationally recognised qualifications.

It is expected that applicants will already have a good education standard with at least 6 GCSE’s at grades A to C including Maths, English and a science or engineering qualification at A or B. Basic engineering knowledge will be an advantage and applicants should have an interest in a career within engineering. They must be willing to work on shifts both during and following the apprenticeship (this could include 5 set or 3 set patterns).

Interested parties should apply through the National Apprenticeship Website.
