Year 9 are back in action with Maths in Motion!
Last week, all Year 9 students kicked off the new term with engaging and competitive math’s lessons as they took part in an exciting activity called Maths in Motion!
In this innovative challenge, students applied their STEM skills to design, refine, and race virtual cars. From calculating fuel efficiency to fine-tuning engine settings, they used problem-solving and strategic thinking to get their cars across the finish line.
The Math’s Department were blown away by the enthusiasm and hard work shown throughout the week! A huge congratulations to our race winners, Logan Howson Probert and William Trafford, for steering their way to victory!
Well done to all our students for such a fantastic start to the term. Let’s keep the momentum going!
