Information Technology learners at The JCB Academy Sixth Form visit Fujitsu.
The Y13 IT learners have recently visited Fujitsu Solihull Park to help support the understanding of networks and online business. The learners have covered all the topics for their exam that will take place in January but are required to show examples to support their answers. Fujitsu has a wealth of knowledge of the IT industry and supporting large to medium businesses in the UK.
The legal and cybersecurity team have visited The Academy Sixth Form to discuss the current issues that all businesses need to be aware of; in particular, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that could potentially cost businesses billions and empower and protect consumers in regards to their own data.
