The JCB Academy is located in Staffordshire in the heart of England, close to the border of Derbyshire. The school is in the village of Rocester about 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Uttoxeter. We are fortunate to be located within the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands.
Learners travel to the academy by bus to avoid the village being inundated by school traffic with parents dropping off learners. We currently have learners travelling to the school from Stoke-upon-Trent, South Derby and the surrounding Staffordshire area.
Due to the relatively rural location of the school, access is easiest by car. There is staff parking onsite. Road links to the school are excellent as we are situated just north of the A50, a major arterial road that connects the M1 in the east to the M6 in the west. The nearest train station to the school is Uttoxeter station which is on the line between Derby and Manchester.
