As we begin 2022, a new year and a fresh start, our English department are encouraging all learners to use the academy’s ePlatform virtual school library. The English team have recommended their top picks for Y9 and Y10 learners.
Learners are also invited to write their own book reviews and send them through to the English teacher where they will be judged, with the winner receiving 15 house points. At the end of the year, the learners with the most house points in the academy receive a prize. In recent years, prizes have included an Apple iPad and Amazon vouchers.
