Year 13 engineering learners at The JCB Academy Sixth Form have recently spent two days in the Centre of Operational Excellence at the JCB Headquarters. The bespoke course designed by the Operational Excellence team at JCB, focuses on lean and quality improvement methods applied in a practical situation of assembly. Learners are taught about many tools and techniques which are used by JCB to achieve operational excellence.
