Bri-Stor Systems – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – Level 2 Apprenticeship
Studying towards a diploma students will gain a basic understanding of electro-mechanical principles through work experience in such areas as:
- Vehicle fitting
- Auto electrics
- Prototype
- Assembly
- CAD Design
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 2 Diploma in engineering operations (skills)
- Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in engineering operations (knowledge)
- Functional Skills as required
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
To gain a general understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles through a combination of on the job training and classroom/workshop based training in conjunction with The JCB Academy.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Excellent prospects for progression within The Bri-Stor Group. Progression from Level 2 to Level 3 is a realistic ambition.
