Twenty three learners went on a water-sports trip to Tossa de Mar in Spain during The JCB Academy’s Activities Week at the end of July. They enjoyed three days of water-sports: paddle-boarding, sailing, kayaking, coasteering, giant paddle-boarding and snorkelling. They spent a day in Barcelona and toured Barcelona FC’s amazing Nou Camp stadium; they shopped in Las Ramblas and checked out the Sagrada Familia (Gaudi’s incredible cathedral that is finally nearly finished after 134 years of construction!); they went to Barcelona’s beach and sampled some amazing tapas for dinner.
Learners were treated to a packed programme during the week including all of the above as well as beach games, bowling in Lloret de mar, visiting a local water-park, a pizza restaurant in town and to finish off the week they went on a glass-bottom boat along the Costa Brava coast. The weather was incredible every day, as was the coach, the Hotel Continental and the Voyager Travel staff.
