Learners at The JCB Academy are currently enjoying activities week. They get to pick from a selection of activities over a three day period. There are overseas trips to Spain and Austria, an outdoor adventure based activity at Edge Adventures in Shropshire, activities within the academy and local trips such as Alton Towers.
The learners have arrived safely in Austria and enjoyed an afternoon hike once settled in and unpacked. The overseas trip to Austria is one of two outdoor adventure opportunities where learners get the chance to take part in a range of outdoor activities. The learners in Austria will be white water rafting, visiting Kitzlochklamm gorge and hiking around a reservoir. Whilst those in Shropshire will be rifle shooting, rock climbing and more.
