We are seeking an energetic, adaptable and committed individual to join our Pastoral Team and work with the Head of Y11 to nurture and develop the wellbeing of all learners in your year group. In this role you will be able to support learners to overcome barriers and implement strategies to ensure they are supported to grow in confidence and achieve results which secure their next steps. You will also work with the safeguarding team to ensure that all Y11 learners are kept safe, referrals are investigated and that learners and their families are well supported.
In addition, the Assistant Head of Y11 has responsibility for pre-16 careers and work experience which includes providing impartial careers information, advice and guidance, leading on the organisation of careers events and leading on the organisation of work experience for Y10 and Y11 learners.
