At The JCB Academy, our Science curriculum is designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and business leaders through a deep understanding of scientific principles and their application in real-world contexts. Our Science lessons provide high-quality learning experiences that build scientific knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking, enabling learners to succeed in their chosen next steps, whether that be college, sixth form, university, apprenticeships, or employment. Learners will explore how science underpins engineering, manufacturing, and business innovation, fostering an appreciation of its role in shaping the modern world.
The Science department also nurtures resilience, teamwork, and leadership through collaborative investigations, industry-linked projects, and problem-solving challenges. Learners will learn to question, hypothesize, and evaluate evidence, developing confidence in applying scientific principles to real-world scenarios.
