Cadets

The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a national youth organisation sponsored by the Ministry of Defence, designed to give young people a taste of military life while developing essential skills for the future.

Joining the CCF at The JCB Academy offers learners a unique opportunity to work closely with the British Army as part of our Employer Partner Challenges, while gaining valuable experience that builds discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

What does it involve?

  • Regular training sessions covering military skills, leadership, and personal development
  • Adventurous activities such as fieldcraft, navigation, and first aid
  • Opportunities to earn recognised qualifications and awards
  • Participation in camps and exercises that challenge and inspire

The commitment:

CCF requires dedication and reliability. Cadets attend scheduled sessions and may take part in occasional weekend activities and camps. Joining means being ready to challenge yourself and grow.

If you want to push your limits, gain life skills, and be the best version of yourself, the CCF could be for you.
