Over the course of the year it is at times necessary to send learners home before the scheduled finish for the day. On these occasions, the buses depart early to facilitate a range of activities at the academy. We recognise these can be problematic for parents and the following provides notice of the planned early closes for the remainder of this academic year.
When the academy has an evening event, the buses depart at 3:45 pm to enable staff to prepare themselves and their rooms. The following are the dates when there will be a 3:45 pm finish:

To facilitate team meetings, the academy will close after lunch (1:35 pm) on the following dates:

- Wednesday, 5 June 2019
- Wednesday, 17 July 2019
The academy will close at 3:30 pm on the following date, due to sports day:
- Tuesday, 2 July 2019
The academy will close at 12:30 pm for the end of term on the following dates:
- Friday, 21 December 2018
- Friday, 19 July 2019
